  1. I love your channel and what you offer; it's been so much valuable information! But dude, please, don't take this the wrong way: when you're plugging a product, you get super neck vein-popping intense!(!!!!body fat percentage!!!!ad sponsoring!!!!…something seems off.) I know you say so at the end, but I didn't click on the title of this video to watch a long ad. I know you gotta make a living, but I'd just like to see you do it in a way that's more authentic to who I believe you are. 🙂 🙂 🙂

  2. The problem is, what use is 'the' number if you're not happy with the way you look? Man looks in mirror and says to himself "i'm not happy with these abs..I need to get down to say 10%". Man then checks body fat with device…results come back at 8.7% 😨. What does man do next? Abandon plan to get to 10% as he's already below that, or, remember he's still not happy with the way he looks, so selects another random figure and aims for that?…and so on. Or, look in the mirror, identify the areas one's not happy with and then concentrate on getting those looking how one wants them. Job done. Unless needed for something specific (i.e a competion), launch the bathroom scales out the window. As for the bodyfat measuring devise, well, it's just giving you another number you don't really need to know.

  3. The idea seemed interesting until it gave you a reading of 8%, at which point it became clear how inaccurate it was. Having read how it works on their website, it should be more accurate than bioelectrical impedence from scales or handheld devices, but it doesn't seem like technology has reached the point where we can accurately measure bodyfat percentage by any means yet. Even DEXA scans throw out anomalous readings from person to person that don't make any sense.

  4. This product didn't work for me – it pairs fine but when placed on the muscle it just stays red, it doesn't start scanning. I've put loads of water on it, made sure all the sensors are touching my skin, it's just my tricep so it's not a hairy area. Still nothing. Also the firmware it up to date. Anyone else? Maybe I just have a faulty one…

  5. note to those complaining that the reading is high compared to the dunk method and calipers. these test measure surface fat and not fat in the muscles. dexascan does measure visceral fat so must this device. since this device measures muscle quality which is measuring the fat in the muscle. this will give you a higher bodyfat reading unless your muscle quality is very high ie little to no fat. caliper and dunk test are essentially different test than dexascan and this device. I just want to know if I can accurately judge progress. in other words if I measure again 5 min later are the results repeated.

  6. Scott, I purchased the skulpt aim (screen version) due to this video. I received it the other day but it does not scan. I was able to connect to it via app and it did the whole update and still does not scan. After letting it charge for a while when I went out for errands… I came back to try it out again but this time the app cannot find the device. When I click on start measuring, It stays on "looking for aim" and nothing else. So basically it does nothing, doesn't scan via app or on the device. Yes I've restarted both the device and my iPhone and even reinstalled the app a few times. Nothing! I've contacted skulpt and just waiting on their reply on my options. It's a disappointment since I watch ur videos and trust your recommendations… This device is crap
